Having been ill for some time, she died on Wednesday 1 May Maria Rita Re, wife of Maurizio Cozzi, former mayor and vice mayor of Legnano. 68 years old, a lawyer by profession, she was the owner of a law firm in Legnano with her husband.
A pain for the disappearance which also involved the Legnarello district, of which Rita was castellan in 1979.
The funeral will be held on Friday 3 May, at 10.30 am, in the Basilica San Magno, in Legnano. From 11am on Thursday 2 May, the body will rest in the Athena funeral home in Parabiago, in via Sant’Anna 2.

In this moment of profound pain I feel fraternally close to Maurizio for the passing of his beloved wife Maria Rita. The years spent together in the party and the intense relationships in municipal administrative activity have always seen us aligned in thought and action. For this reason and for mutual respect, I experience Maurizio’s mourning as that of a family member who has lost a dear and lovable person, as Rita has always been.
