Florence, 2 May 2024 – Florence calls Athens: it is not a cultural twinning between two of the most famous cities of art and culture, but the desire of the Viola people to reach the final of Conference League which will be played in the Greek capital on Wednesday 29 May.
In between however, there is a semi-final with double challenge at Club Brugge, a team from Bruges, an obstacle that is not at all easy to overcome. To go to Athens, not on holiday but to try to win the Conference League, Fiorentina must overcome the Belgians. Tonight (9pm at the “Franchi” stadium, live on Dazn TV, Sky Sport and, free-to-air, on TV8) the first act will be played and the perfect match will be needed to get the better of the opponents and perhaps get ahead of the return match too .
For this challenge mister Vincenzo Italiano he can count on the whole squad and will obviously focus on the leaders, like Nico Gonzalez, to drag the team along.
