Sunday 5 May at 6.00 pm at the Sollima theater in Marsala, the penultimate concert
of the first part of the 2024 Concert Season of the L. Van Beethoven Academy Association, directed by Maestro Giuseppe Lo Cicero.
Two great artists on stage: Alessia Martegiani, one of the most requested and appreciated Italian voices internationally. She studied jazz improvisation with J. Clayton, J. Taylor, A. Jackson and she graduated from DAMS University of Bologna. She teaches jazz singing at the Teramo Conservatory.
Maurizio Di Fulvio, considered among the most interesting guitarists on the international scene, a refined arranger, capable of reading and conveying absolutely different languages with the same strength and intensity, always balancing between respect for tradition and innovation.
The program includes the performance of latin-jazz and classical music standards, including Carlos Jobim, Stevie Wonder, Paulinho Nogueira, Maurizio Di Fulvio, Chick Corea, Consuelo Velazquez.
