The Marche Regional Museums Directorate issued a notice of selection for work assignments aimed at various professional profiles.

Specifically, the notice is aimed at the provision of 3 collaboration assignments for Archaeologists and Restorers of cultural heritage.

The application for participation must be submitted by May 9, 2024.

Below we provide all the useful information on requirements, selection, how to apply and the notice to download.

WORK IN MARCHE MUSEUMS

A selection was therefore announced by Musei Marche for work assignments aimed at various professional figures. Specifically, the following will be selected:

  • n. 1 Archaeologist;
  • n. 2 Restorers of Cultural Heritage.

The collaboration assignment will be carried out within the territorial scope of competence of the Palazzo Ducale Institute of Urbino – Regional Directorate of Marche Museums and will consist of carrying out services relating to the conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage and landscape and in particular in:

  • study activities,
  • inventory feedback,
  • maintenance and restoration interventions,
  • support in the various valorization projects implemented by the Institute, within the assigned funding.

The collaboration activity will be carried out personally by the collaborator, in a flexible and autonomous way and without subordination constraints.

REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED

Persons in possession of the general requirements for access to public competitions can therefore participate in the selection for work assignments announced by the Marche Museums Authority, namely:

  • Italian citizenship or one of the European Union countries or other categories indicated in the announcement;
  • enjoyment of civil and political rights;
  • not having been subject to criminal convictions or disqualification or other measures which exclude access to jobs in Public Administrations, according to current legislation and not to be subjected to criminal proceedings;
  • not have been dismissed, excused or declared forfeited from employment in the Public Administration.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Candidates are also required to do the following specific requirements:

ARCHAEOLOGIST

  • possession of one of the following qualifications:
    – Four-year degree in Literature or Cultural Heritage or Conservation of Cultural Heritage, with an archaeological focus. Advanced diploma or specialization in Archeology or achievement of a PhD in archaeological disciplines;
    – Specialist or Master’s Degree in Archaeology. Advanced diploma or specialization in Archeology or achievement of a PhD in archaeological disciplines;
    – equivalent qualification;
  • Proven five-year professional experienceof which at least 12 months have been spent in collaboration positions in a public administration in the field of cultural heritage protection and enhancement activities;
  • Proven five-year professional experienceof which at least 12 months have been spent in collaboration positions in a public administration in the management, reorganization and census of archaeological material depositswith particular reference to inventory checks, inventorying, cataloging, documentation of archaeological assets and deposit management.

RESTAURANT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE

  • possession of one of the following qualifications:
    – Single-cycle master’s degree in Conservation and restoration of cultural heritage (class LMR/02) or other equivalent qualification according to current legislation; or Diploma issued by the schools of higher education and study operating at the Central Institute for Restoration, the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, or other equivalent qualification or Five-year second level academic diploma in Restoration of the Academies of Fine Arts ( class DASLQ01)
    – equivalent qualification;
    – qualification of Restorer of cultural heritage recognized pursuant to art. 182, pursuant to Legislative Decree. 42/2004 and subsequent amendments, containing the “Code of cultural heritage and landscape” or registration in the list of Restorers of cultural heritage of the MiC;
  • Proven five-year professional experienceof which at least 12 months have been spent in collaboration positions in a public administration in the sector of restoration and conservation of archaeological cultural heritagewith particular reference to metallic, ceramic and glass finds, organic excavations, stone materials, mosaics and derivatives, decorated architectural surfaces;
  • Proven five-year professional experienceof which at least 12 months have been spent in collaboration positions in a public administration in the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities of museum collections, restoration interventions, preparation of archaeological material, conservative filing of finds, planning and execution of maintenance and restoration interventions on archaeological structures and areas.

HOW THE SELECTION IS CARRIED OUT

Once the deadline for submitting the application has expired, a special Commission will proceed with the verification of requirements and to evaluation of applications.

The Commission will proceed to evaluate the applications through two phases.

In the first phase they will come qualifications and professional experiences evaluatedaccording to the criteria and scores indicated in the announcement (for a maximum of 70 points).

In the second phase, which only those who have obtained a minimum of 40 points will access, a motivational and technical interview on the aptitudes and professional experiences of the candidates, inherent to the objectives and specific professionalism gained in positions similar to the one to be filled.

RANKING LIST

The final ranking prepared by the Commission, according to the order of merit, will therefore contain:

  • the “winners”, that is, those who, having passed the two phases, are equal in number to the positions
    required by the Notice;
  • the “suitable” ones, that is, those who, having passed the two phases, remain in a useful position in the event of a possible scrolling of the ranking.

The provision containing the final ranking is published on the website of the Marche Regional Museums Directorate and on the inPA Portal and will last 18 months from the date of publication.

DURATION OF JOB ASSIGNMENTS AND COMPENSATION

The professional compensation established for the winners of the selection is equal to 16,000.00 euros gross including tax and social security charges.

The compensation is paid following the reporting of the activity carried out by the collaborator, upon presentation of an invoice by the professional who must therefore have a VAT number at the time of signing the contract. There are no reimbursements of expenses of any kind or additional emoluments.

The collaboration assignment will have a maximum duration of 6 months and can be extended for the sole purpose of completing the operational objectives of the project.

The collaboration assignment is carried out at the Palazzo Ducale Institute of Urbino – Marche Regional Museums Directorate located in Piazza Rinascimento n. 13 in Urbino.

HOW TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION

The application to participate in the Marche Museums selection for work assignments must be submitted by the day May 9, 2024exclusively in telematic modeby connecting to the PA Recruitment Portal via the link on this page.

To access the platform you must authenticate using SPID, CIE, CNS or eIDAS credentials.

The application for participation must be drawn up by filling out the professional profile format for which we compete together with Declaration of absence of conflict of interestboth made available on the inPA Portal.

FURTHER INFORMATION

The subsequent documents of the competition procedure will be published on the inPA Portal and on the website of the Marche Regional Museums Directorate.

The candidates admitted to interview will be summoned via PEC. The individual interviews will take place in person at one of the offices belonging to the Administration, which will be communicated to interested candidates, again via PEC.
