Livorno, 2 May 2024 – Undifferentiated, notable decrease in TARIP neighbourhoods
As in the forecasts of Aamps and the Municipality, the data on undifferentiated waste produced in homes regarding both the Antignano neighborhoods are extremely flattering; Banditella; Montenero and Castellaccio, where the TARIP system was launched in 2023, and the Ardenza-La Rosa neighborhoods, whose launch took place in January this year.
Following the community principle of equity of “you pay for what you produce”, the variable part of the tariff is calibrated in proportion to the delivery of undifferentiated waste.
This will happen fully with the TARI of 2025, but already from 2024 the bill will be “lighter” by reducing the contributions of undifferentiated waste by at least 20% compared to the standard of one contribution/week corresponding to n. 52 contributions/year.
Aamps and the Municipality also recall that the extension will soon also affect the inhabitants of the center where the installation of new “intelligent” containers capable of electronically recording the data of each individual user is underway
