In race-2 of the playoff “quarter-finals”. of the championship women’s A2 series Of basketballthe Halley Thunder Matelica goes out defeat For 67-57 from the Logiman Broni parquet and, therefore, the series returns to parity: 1-1.

The Lombard team started the match in a lively manner (16-6 at 6′), but Halley Thunder was ready to react and make an impact within two minutes thanks to the inspired Justina Kraujunaite (17-17 at 8′).
In the second quarter Matelica can count on Alessia Cabrini who scores 13 personal points in a row (she will be the top scorer of the match with 23 points and 5/6 threes) and in the 19th minute the scoreboard smiles at the blue and whites, ahead 32 -35.
Even in the third quarter, on yet another triple from Cabrini, Halley Thunder managed to get ahead (42-45 at 27′), then, however, in the final quarter – after the last contact at 47-47 at 31′ – it is Logiman Broni who scores the decisive partial which puts the home team ahead by 13 points in the space of four minutes (62-49 at 35′). Despite her efforts, Matelica is no longer able to catch up with her opponents and the match ends 67-57 in favor of Broni.
