Gialloverdi who win 24-2 against Engas
VERCELLI – Mission accomplished. Amatori clearly wins, as predicted, the derby against Engas and secures the pass, in advance, for the finals which will be worth promotion to Serie A2.
Midweek round, the day before yesterday (Tuesday 30 April) for the yellow-greens, playing at the Pala Pregnolato, always “forbidden” to fans, against the other city club, Engas. A result that was predictable from the day before, against a team that was left to its own devices and continues to rack up resounding defeats. However, applause must go to the young boys who decided to end a season which for Engas was dramatic from a sporting point of view.
Little to say about the match, which was already decided after the first half, ending 12-2 in favor of Amatori. In the second half the yellow-green scored as many goals, closing the score at 24-2. In the Amateurs, all the outfield players available to the coach scored Andrea Ortogniexcept for Bosio: six goals of Schenafour per Inlay, Maffe And Bergamindoubles for Martelli, Bernabè And Francazio. Engas’ goals were scored by Marras And De Lisi.
In the standings, Amatori reaches 32 points, still at the top of the Group A standings, with seven points ahead of the Wasken Lodi – Seregno duo. The Lodi team have one game less but even if they win, given that there is only one match left until the end of the regular season, they would not be able to catch up with the yellow-greens. Therefore, Amateurs mathematically reach the promotion finals with 50 minutes to spare.
