Avellino, the man who was towing the stroller with the scooter identified and reported

After the complaint from MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli at the Avellino Police Headquarters, a 44-year-old who had been filmed on video in the city center while driving a scooter and towing a stroller was identified, punished and reported to the Juvenile Court.

The video had gone viral on social media and was immediately reported to the police by MP Borrelli, member of the Greens – Left Alliance. Borrelli underlined the importance of citizens’ collaboration with the police to identify irresponsible behavior and emphasized the need for decisive interventions. He also suggested carefully monitoring social networks.

“I applaud the state police of the Avellino Police Headquarters for promptly following up on the complaint and bringing the rascal who was the protagonist of a disconcerting scene to justice. These results convince me to move forward in my incessant commitment against all forms of incivility and abuse.

The results obtained in Avellino are confirmation that the collaboration of honest citizens and the police is essential to track down scoundrels. Reporting any abuse and irregularity to the police is the task of a respectable citizen and scouring social networks has become necessary to ferret out these criminals.” Francesco Emilio Borrelli, deputy of the Alleanza Verdi Sinistra, said this.
