Also there Lucca boxing is preparing to welcome, in its own way, the arrival of the Giro d’Italia in Lucca, with a boxing event which, taking up the color of the famous shirt, will be almost completely in pink.

However, the activity at the headquarters in the former Campo di Marte hospital will begin on Saturday (4 May), with a day of Sparring I, the controlled contact discipline for kids who are preparing for the transition from the youth sector to that of Olympic boxing. In addition to the numerous athletes from Lucca, many very young boxers will flock from all over Tuscany to try their hand at the ring in Via Nicola Barbantini.

The manifestation of women’s boxingwhich will also include some men’s matches, will start on Sunday (5 May) at 3.30 pm. During the 13 scheduled matches it will be possible to see three athletes from Lucca fight in the home ring. The unscheduled meeting between Abd Almottalib Loutfi (Junior 50 kilos) e Abed Rabbo Fares (Asd Valenzana Pietro Valdini). Then it will be the turn of Marisa Losha (Youth 53 kilos) against Yelena Varese (Team Moschitta). Finally, for the home team, Giada Carlotti (elite 63 kilos) will also return to the ring, crossing gloves with Zinaida Ghinda (Ring Adora Boxe).

However, the Lucchese Boxing activity next weekend will not remain exclusively at home, with another five boxers who will go away on Saturday the 4th to Asti for the Piedmont-Tuscany interregional. It will therefore be up to Riccardo Colombini (Junior 48 kilos) to defend the colors of our region and Lucca against Adrian Stoian (Boxing Verbania). With him there will also be Federico Inguaggiato (Junior 48 kilos), engaged on this occasion against Luca Rizzi (Boxe Verbania). In the Tuscan representative there will also be Giulio Nelli (Schoolboy 46 kilos), who will face Christian Zedda (Boxing Club Nichelino). Gabriele Giovannelli (Youth 66 kilos) will instead cross gloves with Andrea Piccerillo (ASD Promoboxe). Closing the list of athletes from Lucca is Akram Mehlaoui (Youth 60 kilos), who will face Khalid Abouzine (Boxe Canavesana).
