After celebrating the Scudetto in front of the TV on the weekend in which it rested, Roma return to the pitch to continue their extraordinary journey. Tomorrow at 3pm (live DAZN, RaiSport and Rai Play) the Giallorossi will visit Sassuolo, who before kick-off will grant a well-deserved tribute to Alessandro Spugna’s team, undisputed dominators of the championship with 20 victories in 22 matches, but also the best attack and best defense.

The pasillo de honor with which the black and green players will welcome the Italian champions will kick off a match that the hosts will try to win to continue to hope for the very difficult comeback to third place. The Emilians are coming off five consecutive home wins, but have not scored against Bartoli and her teammates for eight matches. The sensational comeback and the four goals scored in the last round against Fiorentina – who have an 8-point advantage – have however given new impetus to the ambitions of Gianpiero Piovani’s eleven, driven by the timeless Daniela Sabatino and by the play of the young Italian talents, from Cecilia Prugna to Chiara Beccari passing through the class of 2006 Manuela Sciabica. At Roma, the special observer will be Manuela Giugliano, second in the scoring charts with 9 goals (one less than Cristiana Girelli) and fresh from the brace in the last match played at the end of March.

Sassuolo’s hopes of obtaining qualification for the next edition of the Champions League are, however, linked to the result of Fiorentina, who by winning at Inter’s home ground – kick-off at 12.30 – would celebrate their return to Europe after almost four years (the last participation dates back to the 2020/21 sports season).

The 7th day of the salvation squad will open – again at 12.30 – with Pomigliano-Milan. The Granata will try to take advantage of Napoli’s rest period to make up ground on the penultimate place, which is four points away, while the Rossonere will look for their seventh consecutive victory, the hundredth in their history considering all competitions.

At 3pm it will be the turn of Como-Sampdoria, the match in which two of the three most prolific 20-year-olds in the championship will face each other (in addition to Beccari): with six goals there is Sampdoria’s Tori Della Peruta, protagonist wearing the shirt of the youth selections blues (from Under 19 to 23), four to the Swede Oona Sevenius, the team’s second best scorer behind Melania Martinovic, author of 5 centres, all as a substitute.
