AGI – Silvio Berlusconi’s bank transfers to Miranda Ratti, wife of Marcello Dell’Utri, would have served to pay for the silence on the ’93 massacres. This is the hypothesis with which the DDA of the Florence Prosecutor’s Office closed the investigations against Berlusconi’s right-hand man. La Repubblica reported it today.
Dell’Utri and his wife, a few weeks ago, were the subject of a seizure of 10.8 million linked to the accusation of having violated the regulations on anti-mafia prevention: Dell’Utri would in fact have failed to communicate his financial conditions as required by the relevant regulations.
The Berlusconi family lawyer, biased and misleading headlines
“Once again we read confidential judicial documents directly in the newspapers, introduced by biased and misleading headlines. Once again we read absurd, slanderous and contradictory accusations against Silvio Berlusconi and Marcello Dell’Utri.” Giorgio Perroni writes it in a note, lawyer from the Berlusconi family.
“Once again, however, we do not read a single mention of the ruling Court of Palermo of last March 13, where it is categorically excluded that Berlusconi’s monetary donations to Dell’Utri were used to “buy his silence”; as already supported in previous precautionary measures issued by the Court itself, by the Court of Appeal of Palermo and, even, by the Court of Cassation. And once again, obviously, we do not read even a reference to the fact that all the previous lines of investigation and all the trials that linked Silvio Berlusconi to the terrible mafia massacres ended in nothing. Nothing new under the sun – concludes Perroni – But we cannot resign ourselves through habituation in the face of the burning injustice of a shameful “system” which does not abate even now that Silvio Berlusconi is no longer among us”.
