The Observatory on Work in the Prefecture of Foggia reunited

A mandate to the Territorial School Office to draw up a project that makes training in schools structured for safety in the workplace: this is the result of the last meeting of the Institutional Work Group meeting in the Prefecture of Foggia.
On the agenda of the Observatory, with law enforcement agencies, administrators, Labor Inspectorate, trade unions, INAIL, INPS, SPESAL, ANCE, Chamber of Commerce, is the accidents at work emergency.
Therefore, actions to strengthen training starting from school are fundamental, to demonstrate that failure to comply with safety regulations is also a cultural phenomenon.
It is magnified by the use of illegal work, often exploited and under the grip of gangmasters, the inertia of companies that do not consider it an investment, but a cost, safety in the workplace, and the difficulty of creating a shared intervention network .
Faced with an increase of over six percent, in the first months of the current year in Puglia, with already seven victims up to February, INAIL data, there were 78 in the whole of 2023, the Labor Inspectorate also certifies an increase in controls, thanks to the increase in the number of inspectors in the field.
The green light is also given to the internal investigation at ANCE for the provision of a badge certifying attendance at training courses.
