Two women lead the Pd list for the city council: Irene Micali, a young university researcher, and Rossella Teodori, a trade unionist who works in school canteens
Between outgoing directors and new entries, the The Democratic Party of Florence has unanimously approved the lists with the candidates for the City Council and for the Districts.

Between thirty-six names on the listalongside the outgoing councilors, will be there new applications, mostly young people who have gained experience in neighborhood councils. Elisa Meloni will also be there representing the Volt political movement.
As regards the presidency of the five Districts, the presidents are confirmed in Q2 Michele Pierguidi, in Q3 Serena Perini and in Q4 Mirko Dormentoni. In District 1 Mirco Ruffili is presented, born and raised in Oltrarno, outgoing city councilor who in recent years has is concerned with Florentine traditions. In District 5, Filippo Ferraro, born and raised in Novoli, is running for president.

Two are also on the list Outgoing councilors: Benedetta Albanese and Cosimo Guccione.
