PISA – The grey-red coach Giovanni Stroppa he spoke at a press conference on the eve of Cremonese-Pisa, a match valid for the 36th matchday of Serie B 2023-24 (kick-off at 12.30). Here are his statements that we extrapolated from the grey-red club’s website.

Regarding the match against Mister Aquilani’s Nerazzurri: “This match against Pisa is the most important, we absolutely need to bring home the three points. We have prepared, the team is well and this is our will”.
Cremonese with 4 defeats in the last 6 matches:“However, considering the previous races as a whole, we have made an extraordinary journey and performances that have always been important. For example, even against Venezia the team played a great game and deserved more”.
On the match against the lagoon players: “In the second there were episodes in which we weren’t good, but Venezia had some flare-ups. The team played a balanced game against an opponent who wanted to overturn the result. It’s a shame for the opportunities we had to take the lead first and then draw. The episodes did not see us emerge with points, but it remains a performance of character”.
On Pisa: “They are a very technical team, which has good ideas and is therefore more unpredictable than Venezia. It has many short players and it will be a different match compared to Friday’s. To contain Valoti we will need to play as a team and I would add that D’Alessandro and Moreo, who I coached, are players who make the difference in this category”.
On Ciofani and his impact especially in the last minutes of the game: “Yes, he has overcome a knee problem and has improved physically compared to the first round, I’m sorry that up to now he has only been involved in emergency situations. He is training well, he has improved in condition and therefore he is a resource to be taken into account. By doing so my possibilities of choice also increase”.
Regarding his team: “Ravanelli returned to racing today, the injury to the muscle was more serious than expected and we will see how he is in the next few days. Tuia has increased his physical work, the others are available”.
On the 9 goals conceded in the last 6 matches: “It’s unfortunate that a team that suffered so little throughout the entire championship suffered certain episodes. If before the credit for what we were doing went to the whole team, now perhaps we are lacking a little from that point of view. For example, against Ternana I replaced three players at half-time because everyone must always participate on the pitch: 11 men defend and 11 men attack. If this is missing, it becomes difficult”.
On the situation of Coda who feels a bit isolated in attack: “I love Coda a lot and I have always shown it, even if sometimes I replace him or keep him on the bench.
