101 Dalmatians — or almost — invades PetStore Conad in Grosseto and it is immediately: Love at first sightthe new initiative launched by the store which turns the spotlight on the reality of shelters and their protagonists, the dogs up for adoption, creating an opportunity to meet those who could become, for them, family.
Sunday 5 May, from 3pm to 8pmin the room adjacent to the Conad PetStore in Grosseto in via Castiglionese, at the MarePark Shopping Center, the first appointment in the Love at First Sight calendar will be held, dedicated to Dog Farm Ribolla. For the entire duration of the event, open to the public, it will be possible to meet some of the shelter’s guest dogs: rescued, recovered and awaiting a heartfelt adoption. Anyone who wishes will also be able to meet with the volunteers present, receive more information on the activity of the Dog Farm, a health kennel – as well as a shelter, also for cats – on the Pian del Bichi di Ribolla provincial road, and participate in the food collection that will help the almost 300 dogs, puppies, adults and seniors, currently living there.
“Love at first sight wasn’t an idea or, at least, that’s not how I want to define it,” he says Alexei Of the Innocents, partner of Clodia Commerciale SRLwhich includes the three supermarkets and the Conad PetStore in Grosseto – It was rather the choice to recognize, at the same time, the existence of a dramatic phenomenon, which shows no signs of stopping, namely that of continuous abandonments and renunciations of ownership , and the fundamental role that animal rights associations, shelters and, above all, the people who manage them and dedicate themselves to them with love and generosity play in the area.
Love at First Sight extends a hand to them and a paw — it smiles — to these wonderful and unfortunate guests, in an attempt to facilitate the meeting with a person, a human soul mate, who can represent life, home and future.

The second appointment of Love at First Sight is set for Sunday 19 May in the room adjacent to the Conad PetStore of Grosseto in via Castiglionese, at the MarePark Shopping Center, with the dogs of OIPA Grosseto — Nella di Follonica refuge.
