From 11am today, in Portonovo di Medicina, Giacomo Bulgarelli’s birthplace, the mini tournament dedicated to the memory of the Bologna legend will begin. A day dedicated to the unforgettable and unforgettable rossoblù champion. On the pitch there will be the Veterans’ Association, which will see among its ranks a series of characters linked to the history of the Bologna Football Club and beyond.
Not just Bulgarelli
The celebration and the tournament will not only be linked to the memory of Bulgarelli, but there will be much more. Also because this year, next June 7th, it will be 60 years since the conquest of the last scudetto, that of the historic play-off against Inter. We will therefore remember the times gone by with Bologna at the top of the Serie A championship, precisely in the moment of the club’s greatest splendor in the modern era. An important anniversary that will be celebrated in the home of one of the leaders of that magnificent Bologna.
In addition to the memory of the Scudetto, 2024 will also mark 60 years since the foundation of the Bologna Clubs Center. Another reason to celebrate for a day that will be a Gala day in the name of the rossoblù colours.

As mentioned, from 11am, a memorial will be staged in the center of via Zambrini in Portonovo. Portonovo Vecchie Glorie will challenge the Veterans of Bologna FC.
