A new course of studies will open in September to allow qualified surveyors to obtain housing through a professional path. A new university course – Lp-01 – lasting three years, unique in Tuscany. An opportunity to “bypass” the state exam and reach the goal of the stamp with a structured course prepared by the University of Engineering.
The Degree Course (CdL) in Techniques and Technologies for Construction and Territory – 180 training credits required – is aimed at surveyors and industrial experts. It will be held in the Santa Marta complex under the aegis of the Civil and Environmental Engineering department of the University of Florence. The activation would also have been necessary in order not to fall behind other Italian areas, such as Bologna, Milan, Rome, where it has already been started.
In addition to the teaching phase, the practical part connected to the profession will weigh heavily: 48 laboratory credits and the same number of internship credits. There is also an English language course, so as to offer a more European flavor, and a final evaluation exam.
The Degree Course (Cdl) aims to train figures suitable for the profession independently, so as to be able to use skills immediately.
Teaching is structured over a three-year period. The first year is based on traditional activities, courses with frontal lessons, while in the second year almost all the courses focus on the laboratories with lessons also from the reference orders and from the Military Geographical Institute. Third year dedicated to internship.

Freelance graduate surveyor or graduate industrial expert, technicians in public administration and employees in technical roles of engineering companies, legal or economic-commercial firms, construction companies, real estate management, public law bodies for the management and control of the territory.
The objective is to train the first graduates within the three-year timeframe.
