Motor Valley Fest is back. The racing cars invade Modena

The world of automotive and motorsport are buzzing about the start of the sixth edition of the Motor Valley Fest, the (free and open-air) festival of motors in Emilia-Romagna, scheduled from tomorrow until Sunday in Modena. Four days dedicated to two and four wheels, for all enthusiasts, who investigate and delve into the world of sustainable mobility and the future of the Italian Motor Valley, in the company of a large audience of experts and top managers. Between conferences, talks, in-depth discussions and exhibitions, the agenda is full of events not to be missed, under the Ghirlandina and in the province.

It starts tomorrow at 9am with the inaugural conference, at the Teatro Comunale Pavarotti Freni. The event is open to all, bookable on the motorvalley.it website, and also available in live streaming. On stage, Stefano Domenicali, president and CEO of Formula 1, the mayor of Modena Gian Carlo Muzzarelli, the governor Stefano Bonaccini, Adolfo Urso, minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Matteo Zoppas, president of the Ice Agency and Giuseppe Molinari, president of Cciaa Modena . Followed by the inauguration of the Best of Motor Valley, the traditional exhibition in the Courtyard of Honor of the Military Academy of the icons of Ferrari, Pagani, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ducati and Dallara, for a journey between past and present. The ten scheduled panels will cover market trends, digital evolution from 2.0 to 5.0, sustainable mobility, challenges and opportunities. There will be no shortage of space for young talents, to whom two intense days are dedicated with the academic, training and work world, at the Teatro del Collegio San Carlo.

But the party moves through the streets of the city and the province, also including the spaces of the regional racetracks. There are many events on the calendar, ranging from exhibitions, parades, museums and film screenings. In Piazzale degli Erri and Piazza Matteotti, for example, the display of law enforcement vehicles is expected for the entire duration of the Fest; in Piazza XX Settembre, there will be volunteers from the Bugatti Automobili Campogalliano cultural association to talk about the technological excellence of the EB110, the first supercar to adopt the 100% carbon chassis, exhibited during the Fest. The highlight of the weekend will be the ‘Supercars and Moto Motor Fest 2024’ parade, departing from Bologna on Saturday and arriving in Piazza Roma in the evening. There will be over 200 cars from renowned brands and some motorcycles. Sunday there will be the 24th edition of the Concours d’Elegance Trofeo Salvarola Terme, for historic luxury cars. The museums are also in great shape, such as the Enzo Ferrari, which will remain open on Saturday until midnight, and will also host a talent talk. And for screenings, there is a preview of ‘Cinematic Motor Fest’, a new free event for motoring and cinema enthusiasts.
