TREVISO, FIGHT AGAINST ILLEGAL WORK: 11 LOCALS SUSPENDED
41 illegal workers, eleven people hired but placed irregularly in the workplace: this is the balance of the first months of the year of the controls carried out by the Treviso Financial Police in the economic-financial police sector, to verify compliance of the rules regarding employment protection in the castellana area only. As a result of the checks, 11 public establishments were therefore hit by an order to suspend their activity.
The investigations by the Green Basques of the Castelfranco company focused mainly on bars and restaurants, to ascertain the employment conditions of the workers employed in the rooms and kitchens. As many as thirty workers were found to be completely illegal, of which one did not have a residence permit, while another 11 irregular workers were regularly hired on call, but were employed without prior notification of the start of work. Two public places, in particular, were also challenged for the payment of the fees due with untraceable means of payment.
