A Free and Thinking May of Taranto is ready to go: from 2pm at the Parco delle Mura Greche in Taranto artists, musicians, activists and associations will take turns on stage to launch a cry of resistance through music and meeting, in an event that has reached its eleventh edition thanks to the commitment and perseverance of the Committee of Free and Thinking Citizens and Workers and artistic directors Antonio Diodato, Roy Paci and Michele Riondino. As already announced, numerous artists have chosen to join the initiative free of charge: Area (on the occasion of the anniversary of the death of Demetrio Stratos)Brunori Sas, Serena Brancale, Cristiano Cosa, Frenetik, Valerio Lundini And I VazzaNikki, Mannarino, Mama Marias & Don Ciccio, Marlene Kuntz, Gabriella Martinelli, Francesca Michielin, NAIP, Emma Nolde, Willie Peyote, Selton, Terraross, Three cheerful dead boys and the winners of the Musica ControLeMafie contest, i Malvax. Together with them also the One May Orchestra, a “super band” created for the occasion, made up of extraordinary musicians who will interact with many of the artists in the line up.
