The representative hall ofUniversity Hospital of Alessandria hosted a special ceremony this Tuesday, April 30, 2024, marking the beginning of internship course for 53 first year students of the Nursing course of studies at the University of Eastern Piedmont. The ceremony represents a long-awaited return to in-person events, marking a significant phase in the students’ education.
A Turning Moment for Future Nurses
After a forced break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the students, welcomed by tutors and coordinators, had the opportunity to come together for a fundamental moment in their academic journey. Among those who attended the ceremony, Giovanni Chilin, coordinator of professional teaching, and Lorella Gambarini, director of DiPSa AOU AL, welcomed the students, together with other key figures such as Enrica Freggiaro, Katia Faletti, Amanda Maragno, Tosca Vendramin and Fabiana Factory, recent graduate and new hire at AOU AL.
The Internship Program
The interns will undergo a period of 43 days of training, divided into two sessions, which will take place in various structures of the hospital. This internship offers students a valuable opportunity to practically apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during the course of studies, under the careful guidance of experts in the nursing field.
