Bonito on Bruno’s resignation: “Personally and institutionally regretted”

“The resignation of the councilor for culture Rossella Bruno are the fruit of a serene and shared reflection on the difficulties of administrative action and the onerousness of the absorbing commitment that the councilor function imposes”. These are the declarations of the mayor of Cerignola, Francesco Bonitofollowing the choice of the former councilor.

“I have already personally expressed to her my personal and institutional regret for the choice made, motivated by the awareness of the excellent work carried out in the service of the Cerignola community and for the implementation of the ambitious government program of the city.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your dedication to the common cause of the rebirth of Cerignola and for your ability to translate the shared ambition to innovate administrative action in strategic sectors such as Culture, Public Education and Sport into actions and initiatives.

I am aware of how difficult it is to reconcile the pressing needs and deadlines of management with the legitimate requests for participation and direction expressed by city councilors and political partners. We have the task of fulfilling the first by assigning the right value to the others, aware that an inefficient and ineffective administration does not benefit the citizens and those who represent them in the City Council.”
