MILAN – Another “all finals” Sunday. The Under 13 Men’s Territorial Finals “6vs6” and “3vs3” were held at the Municipal Sports Center of Limbiate. In the “6 against 6” the challenge for the title saw Zeroquattro Volley Limbiate and ASD Pallavolo Gonzaga Giovani as protagonists with Desio Volley Brianza and Diavoli Rosa Brugherio on the pitch for third place.

In the “3 against 3” four teams competed for the title of Territorial Champion and competed using the round-robin format: Zeroquattro Volley Limbiate, Billa Volley Milan, Desio Volley Brianza And Gonzaga Youth Volleyball.

During the morning, the athletes of the four finalist teams of the 3×3 competed in the concentrated formula and at the end of the matches the final ranking decided the winner.

This season, the young Limbiates managed to impose themselves on all their opponents, winning the title of Champions with a full score of three victories in as many matches. Second place goes to Desio who fails to replicate the success of the previous year. The Gonzaga boys finished third and, despite having won more sets than lost, only managed to win bronze. Closing this year’s ranking is Billa’s team, which places itself at the foot of the podium.

Opening the afternoon’s challenges is the final for 3rd/4th place in the 6×6 which sees the sextets of the Devils Powervolley and Desio take to the field. The match started well for the Brugherese team who won the first set, however the Desio boys did well to overturn the result by taking the last step of the podium by winning 2-1 (22-25; 25-22; 25-19). First place was conquered during the last match of the day by the very young Gonzaga athletes who, with a great performance, prevailed over Zeroquattro’s opponents with a score of 2-0 (25-19; 25-16) denying them the encore.

The prize of MVP he went to Andrè Alemanno (Gonzaga Youth Volleyball).

The first three teams classified in both formulas will advance to the regional phase.
