Angelo Ricca achieves another record in his very long football career. The 68 years old Of Diamond he made his debut in Excellence with the Scalea entering the field in the final minutes of the match between Sambiase and Scalea with the white-starred shirt. Record longevity
Ricca achieved his 55th consecutive year of membership this year. In his long career, however, he lacked Excellence, having played at least one minute in all categories from D to Third Category. With yesterday’s event Ricca reached more than 1200 appearances, from 1970 to 2024. His first team was the Juventus of Diamond. Then he played with the Praia up to Serie D from 1971 to 1979. From there he played with practically all the teams in the Alto Tirreno area of Cosenza: Belvedere, Scalea, Diamond, Dove grey, Know, Maiera, Grisolia. In 2019, Ricca rose to the forefront of national news as he was a guest on “Cosa il calcio”.
