In Agrigento, the race starts on May 3rd first edition of Urban Fest – All the colors of spring: the festival that combines art, music, food, folklore and entertainment in the heart of the city of temples. All the activities will take place in via Atenea, in a space easily recognizable thanks to the presence of suspended umbrellas which represent the explosion of colors linked to the summer.

Urban Fest will offer a series of ever-changing events every weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) starting from 7pm until midnight.

The program of Friday 3 May, the inaugural day, includes the official opening with an aperitif and tasting of panelle and crocchè, the stilt walkers’ show and an impromptu exhibition of painters on the street, entitled “Canvas in the evening”, curated by Belle Arti Caf, colors and tools for artists from Agrigento. Followed by the “flash mob” with the Val d’Akragas folk group and then the DJ set with Alfonso Spataro.

At 11.59pm “Spaghetti at midnight” with garlic, oil and chilli pepper for everyone.

Saturday 4 Mayat 6.30 pm, Lattuca Store will host the presentation of the new collection of the Dodo brand with the DJ set of Gero Natale who has recently launched his first two singles, “Lucas” and “Far away”, which are part

from the album “Opera Magnifica”. Gero Natale recently, you also participated in “Uomini e donne” (Canale 5).

At 7pm the aperifood with sfincione and bubbles: pizza tasting with the flavors of the past. Followed by the performance of jugglers and fire breathers. Closing with DJ Zeus.

Sunday 5 May at 7pm the “flash mob” with the folk group Città di Agrigento. At 8pm the musical show “Canzoni d’autore” with Marcello Mandreucci.

Furthermore, from next week, from the Fam Gallery window, Radio Vela will broadcast live from midday to 2pm.

Urban Fest is an initiative suggested by Riccardo GaZ, carried out by some private individuals who, taxing themselves, have joined forces in an attempt to bring people back to via Atenea. This is Cafè Girasole by Peppe Vita, David Scozzari and Maximilian Mandracchia; Chapeau by Paolo Russo and Cantina Granet by Vincenzo Santalucia with the collaboration of Lattuca Store by Roberta Lattuca, Fam Gallery by Paolo Minacori and Radio Vela.
