Serious road accident on Sele Valley Fundin the province of Avellino, near the exit of the industrial area of Calabritto. A truck carrying boxes containing packaging for a well-known pasta collided with another car and, after running over the protective barriers, ended up falling off a viaduct from a height of about ten metres.
The driver’s condition is serious. The rescuers of the Alpine-speleological unit, the firefighters and the ambulances of the Calabritto Public Assistance are on site and are operating together with the carabinieri and Anas personnel. The highway was temporarily closed to traffic in both directions.
