Everything is ready in the sixth province of Puglia to welcome the “Stars in Puglia” event, a tribute to the Mercedes brand with four-wheel enthusiasts who will come from all over Italy. The event was organized by the “Club Italia Amici della Stella” which brings together hundreds of fans of the historic German brand, an icon of style and power. The car rally, with modern and historic cars, will start on the afternoon of Thursday 2 May with the operational headquarters in the city of Andria. On Friday, however, we will move first to Barletta and then to Trani with guided tours, walks, tastings and a car parade. Then on Saturday, instead, a day dedicated to Andria with a logistical base in Piazza Catuma where it will be possible to admire the many cars coming from all over Italy and, in the meantime, the participants will visit the city and the architectural beauties of the area. In the afternoon, then, there will be the inauguration in Andria of the “GMD” Museum in via Pasubio starting from 4 pm, a structure entirely dedicated to the world of four wheels and model making. Finally, on Sunday we will move to Castel del Monte, but not before passing through the village of Montegrosso.

An intense program that will combine the passion for four wheels with the wonders of the territory for a project in which essential are the partnerships with the territory such as the Turisti in Puglia association which will take care of the entire part of the guided tours of the territory or the various wineries and farms present in the program and which will allow you to experience first-hand the food and wine culture of the area. The event also enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Andria and the Confraternita di Misericordia Andria and will also see the participation of Gianni Ferrucci’s “Mercedes SLK Italia” group. The contribution of the “Maldarizzi” company, a Mercedes-Benz dealer, or of the GMD company is also essential in setting up a museum that will enrich the tourist and historical offer of the Andria area.
