PERUGIA – Spoleto decadence.
1.ASL2 announces civil and criminal legal action against those who spread “totally false” news about hypothetical hospitalizations of patients that 118 would systematically do at the Foligno hospital and not at the Spoleto one. By now the battle for the Spoleto hospital, now included in a third regional hub together with Foligno, as planned for a couple of decades but finally realised, is being fought with fake news. News that will have to be answered in court. Question: could it be that what could once have been considered legitimate demands of the citizens of Spoleto are now to be considered the personal interests of a few, but very determined not to lose advantages acquired over time (and a part of politics, for reasons of immediate consensus, goes to behind)?
2.Rejecting Fleximan wasn’t enough. It must have been a cold shower on Sistiman, the mayor armed with the most infallible speed camera in Italy, the ruling of the Court of Cassation which opens the way to thousands of appeals against fines. And which promises to clog up the competent office of the Municipality of Spoleto, until now forced to work overtime by the killer instinct of the fine machine, but also to reduce the budget of the former Duchy of Spoleto by a sieve. Sad omens say that bad times are approaching. Spoleto decadence.
