The “Start Up Aggregation” project ends with the Crotone stop

From health and safety in the workplace, to the role of training in the qualification and retraining of workers, up to welfare opportunities. This and much more was discussed in Crotone fourth and final stage of the “Startup-Aggregation Catanzaro – Crotone Vibo Valentia” project promoted by the EBT (Bilateral Tertiary Trade and Services Body of Catanzaro Crotone Vibo) in the three Calabrian provinces.

Theme of the day’s work, in which among others took part national vice president of Confcommercio Donatella Prampoliniwas “Bilaterality and Welfare in the National Collective Labor Agreement for employees of tertiary distribution and service companies”.

A path, the one started by the Bilateral Body in collaboration with the Professional Associations of Accountants and Labor Consultants, aimed at making known the opportunities offered in the branch of commerce and services by Bilaterality, but also to raise awareness on key issues of the world of work such as, for example, that of Health and Safety.

“Entrepreneurs – stated the president of EBT Catanzaro – Crotone Vibo Valentia Fortunato Lo Papa – they must realize that bringing systems, safety devices and everything that falls within this sphere up to standard is not a cost but an investment which, in addition to protecting workers, makes the company more competitive”.

In the series of meetings promoted by the EBT, ample space was given to deseasonalization in trade. There are many commercial activities penalized by tourism concentrated just a few months a year: “We need to think with municipalities, regions and provinces, as well as with mountain communities and internal areas, to make work in this sector continuous and dignified” said the president.

Among the key measures provided by the Bilateral Body are income supports: “From the one for the high cost of energy to the book purchase bonus, up to the mobility and degree bonus, to the one for dental care or prescription lenses, we have provided and are still providing aid which in this particular moment of economic fragility for the country is oxygen for families. A real welfare”explains Lo Papa again.

Another theme is that of training, “now fundamental to be able to approach the continuous evolution and dynamism of the world of work. Training not only qualifies workers but also makes the company more attractive and competitive on the market. We are doing a lot in this area in trade, not limiting ourselves to the classic perimeters but also expanding to life-saving courses. The latest BLSD courses dedicated to first aid notions and the use of the defibrillator were attended by over 130 people and this gratifies us and makes us understand that it is the right path”.

In addition to the president of Ebt Catanzaro – Crotone Vibo Valentia Fortunato Lo Papa, the conference was attended by Ferdinando Lo Bello, vice-president of EBT Catanzaro Crotone Vibo, Antonio Bruno, General Secretary Fisascat CISL Magna Grecia Catanzaro- Crotone Vibo, Saverio Scarpino, Provincial Secretary Uiltucs UIL Catanzaro, Giuseppe Valentino, General Secretary Filcams CGIL Calabria, Giovanni Ferrarelli, director of Confcommercio Calabria Centrale Catanzaro Crotone Vibo, Guido Lazzarelli, central director of Labor and Welfare Policies of Confcommercio, Giuseppe Zabbatino, general director of Ebinter – National Bilateral Tertiary Body , as well as the mayor of Crotone Vincenzo Voce, the president of the province of Crotone Sergio Ferrari, the regional councilor Antonello Talerico, the president of the Chambers of Commerce of Catanzaro, Crotone Vibo Pietro Falbo, the president of Confcommercio Crotone Antonio Casillo, the president of Order of Labor Consultants of Crotone Maria Costanza Felice.
