About a hundred people, mostly women, participated in the flash mob promoted in Largo Berlinguer, in Naples, by the activists of «SOS abortion Naples» the territorial solidarity network of support and guidance for the right to voluntary termination of pregnancy. Wanting to represent the obstacles surrounding the choice to have an abortion, the demonstrators set up a fake train stop with a speaker announcing departures for destinations that are all difficult to reach, such as places where it is possible to terminate a pregnancy.
The participants in the flash mob brought backpacks and trolleys to the square as if to represent the beginning of a journey and some held signs denouncing the mistreatment and humiliation suffered during visits to the clinics. There were some moments of tension when a passerby criticized the reasons for the initiative.
“Anti-abortionists out of the clinics” was the slogan of the flash mob. «The amendment presented by FdI – explain the organizers – allows the Regions to organize consultancy services using third sector bodies with qualified experience in supporting maternity such as the anti-abortionists of ProVita and family. Anti-abortion associations – the note continues – are not interested in protecting maternity but are interested in controlling the bodies of pregnant people. We will not stand by and watch.”

All this will increase the phenomenon of forced migration outside the province or even outside the region and the trip to have an abortion will not only become a real privilege, accessible to few, but will take away precious time from those who choose to have an abortion, denying the possibility of accessing the method pharmacological”.
