Einaudi Hotelier: 900 meals served at the Stradivari Cup 2024

Applause from the Vanoli managers to the budding chef of the Food and Wine and Hotel Hospitality section of the IIS “L. Einaudi“, accompanied by principal Nicoletta Ferrari and give it teachers Cristian Fusco (Cooking) and Cristiana Pisati (Support) during awards ceremony of the Stradivari Cup 2024 at Ca’ de’ Somenzi.

The international basketball tournament – reserved for the Eaglets and Under 13 categories and played between 26 and 28 April, after the day of the 25th, dedicated to women’s basketball -, it therefore ended with a medal also for the institute in via Bissolati.

Dividing themselves between the stove and the room, the children of five classes of the catering course (a third, three fourths and a fifth) participated, in their own way, in the Spring sporting event, serving three hundred meals daily, to refresh the young athletes, hungry after performances, on the playing field.

The teacher Cristian Fusco explains: “We provided our contribution to a challenging but highly satisfying competition: the total of nine hundred firsts and as many seconds, distributed in about an hour, represents a great credit for my school and for the students.

We had to organize two shifts, to fit in the breaks between the numerous scheduled matches. We worked dynamically, quickly and attentively to the needs of the coaches and young champions, who, in different languages, managed to communicate with us and communicate specific needs and requests”.

Some students also interacted with the DJ, at the Radio Bruno station, while, for one of them, Lorenzo Gargioni, there was even the opportunity to take on the role of commentator and cameraman, for the RBMF YouTube channel, dedicated to live coverage of meetings.
