Livorno 30 April 2024 – Livorno Rugby under 12 protagonist at the City of Livorno Tournament
On the ranking podium: the under 12s of Unicusano Livorno Rugby finished in third place in the ‘Città di Livorno’ Tournament, now in its 19th edition.
A splendid event, perfectly organized by the green and white company itself. Thousands of enthusiasts – young, very young and not so young – involved in this very successful sports festival on the Argentine fields of ‘Carlo Montano’ and ‘Giovanni Maneo’.
In addition to the under 12s, under 10, 8 and 6 teams will also be taking part in the event. In particular, the under 8 and under 10 tournaments were dedicated to the memory of Elia Maiorano and Alessandro Bernini, two young people who passed the oval too soon.
The under 12s from Labro, under the guidance of the coaches-educators Riccardo Fabbrini, Piero Chiesa And Marco Esposito they celebrated, through tears, the golden goal with which the third place final was won.
A memorable day, also for the presence of a ‘squadron’ of parents and green and white Olds who created the perfect atmosphere and collaborated and contributed to ensure that everything went smoothly.
Many players of the historic Tre Rose club – those obviously not involved in competitive events – pleasantly followed all the matches, facilitating the organization of the trophy: all very good and extremely helpful. For the under 12 category (athletes born in 2012 and 2013), in addition to Unicusano Livorno Rugby, Gispi Prato, Mascalzoni del Canale, Olbia, Highlanders Formigine and Bellaria Pontedera will start.
