GROSSETO – This morning the final phase of the Tuscany Festival was held in the Council. The classes of lower secondary schools participated in the initiative promoted by the Municipality of Grosseto and entitled “Don Milani, the Tuscany of values” (first, second and third A of the Orsini, the first A of the Chelli Madonna delle Grazie institute , the second A and the third C of Ungaretti, the first classes A and C, the second classes H and F and the third E of Vico). The winners were the first A from the Chelli Madonna delle Grazie institute and the first C and second F from Vico.
At the ceremony, led by the president of the city council Fausto Turbantiamong others, the poet and teacher took part David LaMantia and the education provider Gabriele Marini. Present were representatives of each class that joined the project.
The jury, composed of the head of the press office of the Municipality of Grosseto, and the director of the diocesan social communications office Giacomo D’Onofrioby the poet David La Mantia and by the Education, Culture and Social departments awarded the three works for “For their commitment, the quality of collective work, the sharing of profound values and the liveliness of writing”.
All the works will be included in a soon-to-be-released e-book, which will be available free of charge on the organisation’s website.
