DALDOSS (FDI) – QUESTION: “PINETANI LAKES, THE PAT CONSTITUTES A PERMANENT CONSULTATION TO MONITORING THE STATE OF HEALTH”

Daldoss (FdI): The Province should establish a permanent consultation to monitor the state of health of the pine lakes.

The state of health of Lake Serraia in particular but also the other lake basins of the Pinè plateau are the subject of the question for immediate response filed by the councilor of Fratelli d’Italia Carlo Daldoss in view of the next session of the provincial council of May 7th next.

The issue of the blooming of algae and prolonged blooms of toxic cyanobacteria in the waters of the pine forest lakes has been worrying local administrators for years who have asked the Province to establish a permanent consultation in order to identify definitive solutions to ensure safe access to the lake during the whole season.

In fact, last year the local mayors had issued an ordinance banning fishing and bathing to protect the health of residents and the many tourists who frequent the lakes. During the last legislature the work of the provincial technical table set up together with the municipal administrations of Baselga di Pinè and Bedollo focused on identifying the causes of eutrophication, adopting an experimental protocol for the management of pumping which however did not produce the results hope.

Councilor Carlo Daldoss asks the Provincial Council if it intends to set up an ad hoc consultation to deal with the restoration of the lakes of the Pinè plateau, made up of experts as foreseen by the program agreement for the valorisation and relaunch of the Pineta territory in collaboration with the territorially competent municipalities and the competent subjects in the matter.
