ANCONA – Starting tomorrow Love taken, the exhibition of the Plural Thought festival. An exhibition that is part of a broader path of philosophy, that of the Festival of Plural Thought of Ancona (conceived by Giancarlo Galeazzi and carried out by the director Antonio Luccarini), sponsored by the Municipality of Ancona, the Polytechnic University of Marche and the Region .

The exhibition will start tomorrow (1st May, at 6pm) and will be open until the 8th. The following times will be observed in via Buoncompagno: morning (10-12), afternoon (16-19.30).

«The theme of this year’s festival was love – explains Toni Pierdomèamong the organizers together with Antonello Mariotti (of Forma Formante) – and the exhibition also wanted to represent the various facets of love. An exhibition to allow us to visually savor what for each of us is the feeling of love in the deepest sense and meaning. wide of the term”.

Love in all its forms, we said: «Which can be love for God, love for one’s city, the most classic, that is, love for another person. But also love for animals, or for nature – continues Pierdomè –. I am sixty-four artists who have agreed to give their contribution in an important place for the city of Ancona, which is Spazio Presente”.

«A philosophical project linked to the feeling of love, which is the dominant theme: an exhibition that will be the watershed between the first part of the festival (which has already taken place, ed) and the second part, which will begin with this photographic exhibition” and will therefore begin with the other events.

Silvia Salvarani

The sixty-four artists are all from the Marche and come from all parts of the Doric province, but also from outside. There are some who, for example, come from Macerata. Within the exhibition, among other things, the book by Marco Salvaranibrother of the well-known Silvia, who tragically (and prematurely) passed away in 2022, after a concrete mixer hit her on her bicycle, in Milan.

«The brother, looking through her things – says Pierdomè – discovered that Silvia was thinking about doing a book with photographic subjects. She had a great sensitivity for the environment and everything that surrounded her.” Salvarani’s posthumous book will be presented on May 5th, whose title is Like autumn leaves.
