PORDENONE – TREVISO – A worker died in an industrial accident that occurred this morning in Veneto River (Pordenone). The victim was working from a truck with a crane when she was hit by the same “forks” with which she was lifting materials. The machinery threw him to the ground from a height of several metres. Death occurred instantly.
On site, in addition to the power station staff Sores Fvg health operations team, including the firefighters, the carabinieri and the health authority inspectors.
The fatal accident occurred on a construction site outside a shed of a poultry farm, in via Kennedy, in Fiume Veneto. According to what ANSA has learned, the victim was 69 years old and worked for an external company in charge of construction work. The medical helicopter was also sent to the scene, but there was nothing that could be done. The medical examiner declared the death due to traumatic cardiac arrest. The accident area has been cordoned off.
