Perugia promotes inclusion with Differently Creatives
The 14th edition of the event promoted by the Auriga Consortium aimed at raising awareness of the condition of people with disabilities took place in Piazza IV Novembre
After a four-year break, Perugia has returned to host Differently Creatives. The event, promoted by the Auriga Consortium with the aim of raising awareness among citizens on the topic of inclusion of people with disabilities, took place on the morning of Tuesday 30 April in Piazza IV Novembre.
The children of various schools in the area, the associations and guests of the mental health centers animated the heart of the acropolis by showing off their creativity, through workshops, games and recreational activities.
A beautiful setting for a Perugia kissed by a summer sun and a beautiful message of sociality and solidarity that comes from the youngest.
“We are very happy – declared the President of Auriga Liana Cicchi – to have proposed this event again in the year in which we celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of our consortium. Differently Creativi represents an important moment of attention towards people with disabilities and their inclusion in social life. A message that takes on an even more important meaning because it is spread by students, by that future generation to whom we entrust the further development of these themes and better social integration. How nice to see such a colorful square animated by good intentions.”
During the morning, the Mayor of Perugia, Andrea Romizi, the Social Councilor Edi Cicchi, the Vice President of the Legislative Assembly of the Umbria Region Paola Fioroni and Filomena Polito, coordinator for the Auriga Consortium of Different Creatives, made their presence known .
President Cicchi awarded the student Arxhei Veliu of the Cavour Marconi Pascal institute as the winner of the graphic competition announced among the schools for the creation of the event poster.
