satisfactions from Udine, Pordenone, Veneto and Bologna

In the last weekends of April, new competitive commitments for the shooters at the Opicina range.

From 14 to 21 April the shooting ranges of Udine and Pordenone hosted the third stage of the regional shooting circuit while on 28 April at the shooting gallery of Soave (VR) the target sprint athletes competed for the second race of the national circuit.
These competitions also bring satisfaction to Trieste Shooting, starting with the rifle group engaged in Udine with good quality tests for all the athletes.
The performances in the compressed air rifle by Juri Milic (second in the boys category) and Nicole Bonacci (third in the junior women category) stand out.
The pistol group was busy as usual in Pordenone with all the shooting specialties.
The good results for the youngest in the compressed air specialties are confirmed with Maria Teresa Littei first in the very young category, Marta Giacomin first in sports pistol and second in P10 (students category) and Rossella Basine first in both specialties (children category) .
Among the juniors, good results for Valerio Di Biasi second in both P10 and Free Pistol at 50 meters (J2U category), Edoardo Ladini second in P10 and first in PL (J1U category) and Nicolas Virno second in PL and first in Sports Pistol 25 meters (category J1U).
In the Senior and Master categories there are many notable results.
In the 10 meter races, second place went to Massimo Virno (Men C category) and Paolo Barina (Grand Master category and debuting with Trieste).
In the 25 meter specialties of the Sports Pistol and Large Caliber Pistol, second place among the masters for Salvatore Di Toro and third for Sergio Scheri and second place also for Sara Gorri in the Women’s Sports Pistol.

Moving to Veneto for the Target Sprint races, on Sunday 28 April further satisfactions from Alessandra Morello who participated in her second race taking an excellent second place.

Finally, the satisfactions for the Opicina competitive group also come, as usual, from Tommaso Starec who continues his preparation with the Paralympic national team by participating in the competitions and technical stages at the shooting gallery in Bologna.

The month of May will be full of commitments for the Opicina Shooting Range both from a sporting point of view (with other competitions and technical stages for the top athletes) but also organizational, but the staff led by president Luca Ballaben is ready to face these challenges.
