three flights a week from Florence to Dusseldorf

A direct connection between Florence and Düsseldorf, the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. Starting today, Eurowings, already operational in Pisa with a seasonal route to Cologne-Bonn, offers a direct connection to the Rhine metropolis with a frequency of three times a week. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the Lufthansa-controlled airline will connect Florence with Düsseldorf, cities that not only share a fashion soul but are also characterized by their lively trade fair spirit. Furthermore, Düsseldorf will be home to an important football event and represents a strategic starting point for work commitments and business meetings.

“We are pleased to expand our Italian portfolio with a new destination in Florence. We offer our guests 17 different destinations in Italy: there is something for every occasion, whether it is a city break, a beach holiday or a business meeting. Germans have enjoyed traveling to Bella Italia for decades! And of course we are also happy to welcome visitors coming from the opposite direction”, says Michael Händel, Vice President of Network Management.

“We are particularly happy with the launch of this route which, in addition to further enriching the offer of our destinations, will allow us to connect Florence airport with Germany, a strategic and very important market for Tuscany” commented Toscana Airports.
