VILLADOSE (Rovigo) – Work in the former area has been entrusted Green Island. Respecting the timetable which indicated April 30 as the deadline for the award, the tender conducted by the Province of Rovigo identified the Sir SpA company of Brindisi with a 12% discount on the starting bid for the works of approximately 776 thousand euros, therefore 684 thousand euros.
The first phase consists in the restoration by excavation of the resurfacing materials consisting of mixed waste deriving from demolition and construction activities and other waste produced by land reclamation operations; then the waste will be extracted, analysed, removed and removed and subsequently delivered to authorized centres. The overall intervention has an economic framework of 999 thousand euros which also includes technical and administrative costs, all financed by the regional tender of which the Municipality of Villadose was awarded the contract for the sum of one million euros.
The area concerned is approximately 3 thousand square meters large and has a tank filled with inert waste since the 1990s, with an underground storage depth of two and a half metres: once used for sport fishing, it was then owned by the Waste Consortium and subsequently by EcoAmbiente which then sold it to the Municipality of Villadose which last December 27th became the assignee of the regional contribution paid in January.
