This morning, Tuesday 30 April, the Renault Twingo abandoned in via dei Mughetti, in Colle Fiorito, Guidonia Montecelio district, was removed.

The removal took place after the intervention of the Urban Decor Unit of the Local Police which also reported to the Tekneko Company the need to remove the waste abandoned in a supermarket trolley positioned close to the car itself.

In a press note, the municipal administration informs that the identification of “forgotten” vehicles in the Guidonian hamlets is one of the numerous activities carried out by the agents directed by the Corps Commander Paolo Rossi.
In 2023, 107 were removed and, since the beginning of the year, around thirty.
Added to the abandoned vehicles are those subjected to seizure due to lack of insurance coverage.
According to the press note, the constant monitoring of the area carried out by Local Police patrols acts as a deterrent to incorrect driving behaviour. Road safety, on the other hand, is one of those problems on which residents are increasingly calling, particularly on social media, for greater attention from the police in general.
In this sense, also collecting the indications of Internet users, the services planned by the Local Police provide for the continuous surveillance of the municipal road network, compatibly with the other tasks of the institute.
