Approved by the Provincial Council the framework agreement with La Spezia municipalities for the management of interventions on provincial roads. “This framework agreement, on which other interventions can also be implemented – continues the note from the Province -, mainly guarantees the mowing of vegetation along the sides of the network of provincial roads involving the signatory Municipalities, including the cutting of unsafe plants that may come across along the way. the mowing activity, all with suitable disposal of waste materials and with the Province undertaking to support these activities with a contribution of no less than 50% of the eligible expenditure incurred by the Municipalities”.
“This is a very important agreement for the maintenance of the provincial road network, requested and long awaited by the mayors of the area who, in the event of cancellation of the council meeting, would have risked seeing one of the fundamental coordinated activities between the Provincial body blocked and their municipalities”, underlines a note from the provincial administrationwhich also informs that the Municipalities that have expressed interest in joining the framework agreement are: Calice al Cornoviglio, Bolano, Brugnato, Castelnuovo Magra, Deiva Marina, Follo, Framura, Lerici, Levanto, Luni, Maissana, Monterosso al Mare, Pignone, Porto Venere, Rocchetta di Vara, Sesta Godano and Zignago.
The practice received the favorable vote of all the councilors of the majority, absent the opposition. On behalf of the provincial president, Pierluigi Peracchini, finally informs the note“thanks arrived from the majority councilors present who guaranteed, in the face of the compact absence of the minority, the approval of a strategic and indispensable act for seventeen municipalities in the area which will allow them to be able to operate with interventions on the road network starting from next weeks without having to postpone them for months.”
