The Band SALVATORE AMARA & THE EASY BLUES BAND was born in Sardinia in 1993 on the initiative of Salvatore Amara and, on the occasion of the evening of SATURDAY 25 MAY 2024will present a ACOUSTIC SETwith the following training:

– Salvatore AMARA (vocals and guitars)

– Mauro AMARA (keyboard and backing vocals)

– Dimitri PAU (harmonics)

BIOGRAPHICAL-PROFESSIONAL NOTES on the BAND

“The Band will present part of its vast repertoire of almost 500 songswhich includes original compositions by Salvatore Amara and covers, which range across all genres of American music having as their origin the Blues: Delta & Country Blues, Chicago & Texas Blues, Shuffle & Boogie, Funk & Rock, R’n’B & Soul, R’n’R & Southern Rock, Country & Western, Traditionals & Ballads, Spiritual & Gospel.

In 1995 the Band won the NARCAO BLUES FESTIVAL competition, where in 1996 they performed again as a guest.
In 1996 and 1997 the Band participated in the ROCCE ROSSE & BLUES FESTIVAL in ARBATAX.
In 1998 the Band started on tour in SWITZERLAND, participating as an international guest at the BLUES FESTIVAL in MUNCHWILEN (S. GALLO), and performing in the Blues clubs of ZURICH, obtaining the approval of international specialized critics.
In 1999 the Band won the 1st edition. of the UNDERGROUND BLUES FESTIVAL – QUARTU SE
From 2013 to 2016 the Band participated in the 4 editions of the CAGLIARI BLUES FESTIVAL, which Salvatore Amara helped to organize.
The Band performed as supporting act for Jono Manson, Ronnie Jones, Andy J. Forest, BB King, Jeff Haley, Peter Green, John Mayall, Jack Evans & John Higgs and Herbie Goins.
