An event organized by the Municipality of San Vito dei Normanni and Unitre, which will see the web newspaper IN PUGLIA 24 as Media Partner.
He will dialogue with the author, ALESSANDRO NARDELLI, journalist and Director of In Puglia 24. The commentary and readings will be by Giampiera Quartulli. This is the third presentation of this exciting book, capable of immediately capturing the reader’s attention, as the author, Teresa Vittoria Donadeo, has lived an adventurous life to say the least, starting from Salento, as a child, and then touch the city of Brindisi, Africa, in the most important years of her existence, as a mother, wife and teacher and Ceglie Messapica, where she still manages the Agriturismo Villa Mado. A dynamic life, where there was no shortage of experiences of all kinds.
These, as mentioned, unfolded between Africa, which can be considered a sort of adoptive homeland for Teresa, as she lived here with her husband, a bridge engineer, who moved to these mysterious lands for work, and the city of Ceglie Messapica, where for Teresa, following the death of her husband, a new experience began, which, still today, characterizes her second part of life, with the experience of “Villa Mado”, a farmhouse that she manages with love and care of guests.
Teresa, a woman who has made independence the distinctive mark of her character, has never stopped, despite her life being dotted with prejudices and stereotypes linked to her being a woman, to overcome which she had to fight and work hard . This strong character of hers allowed him to experience every adventure of hers in a positive way and to fulfill herself with tenacity, as a wife, working mother and teacher.
Teresa, in her book, talks about herself with an open heart, highlighting her strong character, which allowed her to overcome adversity. The characteristic of the book is its lightness and simplicity, without, however, being superficial in its narration. Whoever reads it will have the feeling of attending a chat between friends.
