L’Aquila: project for the promotion and dissemination of music

The Regional School Office blesses a project that will see the Casella conservatory, the L’Aquila music high school and other schools as protagonists in a project that involves the creation of a territorial network for the promotion and diffusion of music.

17 comprehensive institutions, in L’Aquila and beyond, with the conservatory have signed the pact that will see the baptism with an event at the church of San Silvestro in L’Aquila on May 7th with a concert lesson by maestro Simone Genuini and the orchestra ” The AQincrescendo”. The online schools will carry out initiatives aimed at promoting and disseminating musical, dance and theatrical culture throughout the territory by building orchestras, supporting choir activities and much more, including the organization of masterclasses with experts. An organizational artistic committee will be appointed. Each institute that is part of the network agreement will allocate an annual quota of the institute fund to increase the number of hours dedicated to preparing students for participation in activities. The conservatory will sponsor the activities and undertakes to organize and carry out general rehearsals and to provide the scores. The agreement will last three years and can be renewed. Casella’s role is very important and will essentially be the hand that guides everything.
