PESCARA – “The Kappa Theater will stage in Pescara next Saturday and Sunday 4th and 5th May, in the spaces of the Cordova Theatre, the Comedy of Errors, ‘Amanti Frementi, Tremendi Tormenti’, embracing solidarity, i.e. financing the purchase of a defibrillator that will be donated to the Municipality of Pescara to save human lives.
It is the initiative launched today in the Municipality, an event of absolute importance that combines culture with attention to social issues”. The Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Pescara said this Maria Rita Carrot during the press conference convened in the presence of General Enzo Cappa, director, creator, producer and director of the show, of Margherita Cordova artistic director of the Teatro Cordova, and of some of the protagonists of the piece, i.e Rita Maria Binni And Mauro Di Profio.
“On 4 and 5 May at the Cordova Theater in Pescara the curtain opens on the Comedy of Errors ‘Anti Trementi, Tremendi Tormenti’ based on a text by Ezio Cappa, a show entrusted to the voices and interpretation of the amateur theater company ‘Alcyone’ – explained councilor Carota -. The Department of Culture deemed it appropriate to promote the show which has charitable purposes, for the donation of a cardiac defibrillator to the municipal administration of Pescara which will be able to make good use of it. This life-saving computerized device is able to restore the normal heartbeat in those who unfortunately find themselves in an unpredictable cardiac arrest condition; we therefore understand the importance of TeatroKappa’s initiative and the will of the Municipality of Pescara”. “The show ‘Amanti Frementi, Tremendi Tormenti’ – explained the producer Cappa -, staged for the first time in Pescara, is a comedy in three acts without intermission, a play of Plautine origin founded on a misunderstanding from which they depart a series of intrigues and love situations which then end in a surprise ending.
The theatrical composition also includes the performance of live songs and brief references to the ‘Barbiere di Siviglia’ by Rossini. We wanted to combine the event with a moment of solidarity, namely the purchase of a latest generation defibrillator which we will donate to the Municipality of Pescara”.
The cast is made up of Lorenzo Adami, Rita Maria Binni, Anna Contino, Lucilla Del Rosario, Mauro Di Profio, Ugo Dragotti, Caterina Franchetta, Angelo Losito, Mariella Orlando, Giulia Tarquini, Luca Troiano, Valentina Mancini. Entrance is free but with a free offer starting from 10 euros.
