Viterbo: two Romanians caught stealing in the shopping center, arrested by the State Police

VITERBO – In respect of the rights of the persons under investigation and the presumption of innocence, as far as is currently known, subject to further investigation and pending judgement, the following is communicated: On the afternoon of last April 26th, personnel of the State Police of the Flying Squad of The General Prevention and Public Relief Office of the Viterbo Police Headquarters has arrested two women of Romanian nationality, aged 25 and 24, for the crime of aggravated theft.
The operators had intervened at a shopping center in the capital because security personnel had caught foreigners intent on stealing goods with a total value of almost 1,200 euros inside a shop.
The arrested women were confined in the security rooms of the Police Headquarters awaiting the very direct ritual following which the provision was validated by the judicial authority.
The Police Commissioner of Viterbo has adopted the prevention measure of the Mandatory Street Sign with Ban on Returning to the Municipality of Viterbo for a period of three years.
