Mother and son dead, she has head injuries

Mother and son found dead at home, the autopsy shows that Loredana Molinari was attacked, even violently. If the picture remains that of these initial outcomes, the murder-suicide hypothesis immediately examined by the investigators gives a scenario in which it would have been the son who attacked the mother, then taking his own life. It was immediately ruled out that anyone else had entered the house, because the door was locked from the inside with the keys still inserted in the keyhole. The windows as well as the front door showed no signs of forced entry. A week before the discovery of the now dead bodies, Molinari’s sister had telephoned her relative, but the 78-year-old had not answered her. Mother and son were probably already dead. The bodies were found in the late afternoon of last Wednesday, on the first floor of an apartment in via Gramsci 20, where mother and son lived, maintaining little contact with the outside world and also with close relatives who they did not see even on official holidays. Molinari had not called his sister back after the phone call. She had left a message on her answering machine asking “when you hear the message call me back”. According to the conditions in which the bodies were found, in an advanced state of decomposition, the death dates back at least ten days earlier. The investigations are carried out by the carabinieri of the Jesi company and by the investigative unit. The families of the victims are awaiting the return of the bodies for the funeral.
