After several attempts to be opened, she didn’t believe it and on the other side of the door a foreign voice screamed in a disorderly manner and then left. The lady, after contacting Enel to ask for confirmation that she had been sent, was told that no worker had been sent to her home. “Whoever submits offers on behalf of Enel Energia is in possession of forms and information materials clearly referable to the Company” specifies the same company, warning users against finite operators

A lady reports that, some time ago, a stranger insistently rang her doorbell. The invitation from the police is always the same: never let unknown people enter your home and report the presence of suspicious people to the authorities. In reference to reports relating to people who show up at citizens’ homes in the name of Enel Energia, the Company provides some useful advice to defend against scams: “anyone who shows up at homes on behalf of Enel, whether they are employees or external personnel in charge must be equipped with a laminated card with company logo, photo and identification data. If someone shows up at your home on behalf of the Company you should always ask to see it. Furthermore, no one is authorized to collect or return sums of money at home on behalf of Enel Energia. Like the other operators on the free market, Enel Energia also uses ‘door-to-door’ agents who present new offers. Also in this case these are people with an identification card indicating the agency in charge of the sale. Anyone who submits offers on behalf of Enel Energia is in possession of forms and information materials clearly referable to the Company. Enel therefore invites you to request to see it and reminds you that it is still advisable to read carefully before signing each document.
