The target is a car from whose passenger compartment (passenger side) shots were fired shortly before “at eye level against houses and shops”; the phrase was reported by an eyewitness who raised the alarm, i.e. a soldier of the Army free from duty, who after the scene called his colleagues at the Corso Mazzini operations center.
