Pistoleros at night (for fun). They shoot disguised as cowboys: “We were returning from a party”

Six carabinieri with machine guns aimed and in assault gear in the middle of the night in Via dell’Appennino. The target is a car from whose passenger compartment (passenger side) shots were fired shortly before “at eye level against houses and shops”; the phrase was reported by an eyewitness who raised the alarm, i.e. a soldier of the Army free from duty, who after the scene called his colleagues at the Corso Mazzini operations center. From the car, stopped in the street, we can see the silhouettes of two people, hands raised in a sign of surrender.

This is the epilogue of an alert that for about twenty minutes kept the entire provincial command but also all the law enforcement agencies in the Forlì area in suspense.

Inside the car, surrounded by machine guns leveled on the windows, two men appear, dressed as cowboys. One 56 years old, the other 67 years old. Forlì. Uncensored.

The soldiers of the Carabinieri made them get out of the car: why were they masked like that? They were returning “from a theme party”, the two report. Shortly afterwards the police ascertained that the pair of transvestite gunslingers had used a dog swatter, not a real firearm. In the same car, two ‘Me Ranger’ brand metal drum guns (i.e. ‘dog swatters’) equipped with red caps on the end of the barrel, and 47 still unexploded shots were found and seized.

The two men from Forlì were reported for the crimes of dangerous explosions, causing alarm and disturbing people’s rest.
